Meet Our Team!
Hi, my name is Cynthia and I’m the founder of The Garden Hop Shop. My life as a bun mom began almost seven years ago when I (impulsively) adopted my first rabbit, Louie, from a shelter in Orange County, CA. What started as one small bunny I had no idea how to care for quickly grew into a passion for rabbit care, enrichment, and rescue.
Since then, my girlfriend Brooke has joined me in fostering and rescuing more rabbits than we ever imagined would be in our lives. Somehow, we ended up with 7 foster fails. 🫣 It has been incredibly chaotic and also one of the best parts of my life. Our family outgrew our condo in California, so in June of 2024, we made the move to Colorado with all of our bunnies (as well as 4 cats and fish). We have been loving life in the mountains!
Life has slowed down since our move and I picked up the hobby of making healthy treats and enrichment items for our bunnies. I have really enjoyed getting to combine creativity with my passion for animals. I believe there is a shortage of organic, healthy, and safe products on the market for pets. Rabbits are extra sensitive and deserve food, treats and toys that are free from pesticides, toxins, BPA, and all of the stuff that really isn’t good for anyone!
This shop was born out of a love for all rabbits, and a love for creating things to spoil our fur babies a little more! Thank you so much for being here and supporting my small business.
